Police have cordoned off a section of bushes in Collier Row as part of an investigation into a “previous incident”.

Hedges at the junction of Collier Row Lane and Playfield Avenue were roped off with blue and white police tape yesterday evening (Tuesday, June 26).

A Met Police spokesman said: “We are looking for something in connection to a previous incident.

“We can’t confirm if it is in relation to the Collier Row stabbing.

“The area is of interest to detectives and we cannot reveal any more for operational reasons.”
