Police recruitment bus to come to Romford

PUBLISHED: 17:49 27 June 2014 | UPDATED: 17:49 27 June 2014

If you have ever fancied volunteering for the police, tomorrow is a good day to visit Romford.

The Metropolitan Police will be bringing their recruitment bus to Romford Market Place, at the junction with South Street, from 10am to 3pm.

Servicing police officers will be at hand to help recruit volunteer police officers, known as special constables.

Special constables play a pivotal role in the Met, working alongside regular police officers to police London and bring skills and experiences from their day jobs, whilst giving something back to London.
