Police sent a helicopter and a dog van to Harold Wood this morning (Tuesday) to catch two suspected burglars.
They were alerted just before 9.50am, when a bystander spotted the pair running out of a house in Homeway. They had tried to force open a patio door, but failed.
A 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of burglary, but the second suspect is still at large.
