Detectives are appealing for information after two boys were attacked with a baseball bat and one stabbed three times.

Police were called to Billet Road, Hornchurch, just before 10.20pm on February 23 to reports of a stabbing and an assault.

Two boys, both aged 16, had been approached by a group of males they didn’t know and were attacked.

One victim was hit with the bat and suffered minor injuries and the other was attacked with the baseball bat and stabbed three times.

Havering CID’s Det Cons Dan Costis said: “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the attack to please contact us as soon as possible.”

Officers are keen to identify three vehicles in convoy seen on CCTV.

They appear to be a white Fiat Punto, a silver, grey or light blue five-door Vauxhall Astra and a silver, gold or light blue five-door Ford Fiesta.

The drivers may have witnessed the attack.

Both boys were taken to east London hospitals for treatment and have since been discharged.

No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
