The good Samaritans who helped after the woman was allegedly raped


Police are searching for two good Samaritans who helped an 18-year-old woman from Romford after she was allegedly raped at a Basildon nightclub.

They are believed to have assisted the victim after the incident, which supposedly happened behind the DJ stand at Liquid, in Festival Leisure Park, between 1 and 2am on Sunday, June 30.

A 19-year-old man from Hertfordshire was arrested on Thursday, August 8, in connection with the investigation. He has been bailed until September 18 pending further enquiries.

Detectives have released this photo in the hope someone can identify or trace them, as they may have important information.
