Police are appealing for information after a woman died in a road crash.

The woman, 52, from the Romford area died at the scene of the crash in Coxtie Green Road, Coxtie Green, on Thursday.

Her car, a Jaguar, was in collision with a Ford Fiesta just before 5pm. The woman driving the Fiesta suffered shock but was not injured.

The collision was near South Weald golf course and a section of Coxtie Green Road was was closed until 10.30pm.
