A PENSIONER had to be cut from her car after a road traffic smash earlier today.
The 70-year-old woman had to be freed from the blue Citroen car by firefighters after the incident on Waterloo Road at around 11.45am on Monday March 7.
Crews from the London Ambulance arrived at the scene with two ambulance crews and a air ambulance where the woman was taken to Queen’s Hospital in Rom Valley Way, Romford suffering from wrist and hip injuries.
The incident also involved a grey Honda.
Waterloo Road was closed from 11.45am with buses being diverted.
