Pedestrian injured in collision with car in London Road, Romford

A woman in her 30s was injured today following a collision with a car in London Road, Romford.

Sections of the road were closed off after police and the ambulance service attended the scene at around 2pm.

The crash involved an estate car and was on the junction with St Andrews Road.

The pedestrian was conscious and breathing when police arrived and it is thought her injuries are not life-threatening.

@chrisMU19 tweeted: “Person knocked down on London Road by Cottons Park. There’s heavy traffic on approach in both ways.”
