Pair arrested and dog unit called after burglary in Harold Wood

A man and a woman in their 30s were both arrested in Harold Wood on Sunday after police officers were called to a burglarly in a busy street.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said officers were called yesterday afternoon at 4.35pm to a premises in Colchester Road after reports of a break-in.
A number of police cars and a dog support unit were called and a 34-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were arrested in nearby Retford Road on suspicion of burglary.
The spokeswoman told the Recorder: “The woman was taken to an east London police station. She had been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
“The man was taken to an east London hospital for treatment to minor injuries and remains in custody.”
Officers from the east area command unit continue to investigate.
