Archant

A new Gidea Park sports clinic hit the ground running - when Olympic javelin medallist and reality TV star Fatima Whitbread turned up to open it.

The Injury Clinic was based at the David Lloyd gym for seven years but has now expanded into a shop on Station Road, opposite Gidea Park Station.

Ms Whitbread won bronze and silver medals in the 1980s, and came third in last year’s series of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!
