Youngsters were told how to keep safe on the streets.
Hacton Safer Neighbourhood team visited the Jupitor Cub Pack in the scout hall in Chelmsford Drive, Upminster.
Officers gave a presentation to the cubs about road safety, bike safety and stranger danger.
The presentation included how to use ultraviolet marker pens and timer switches.
Information was also given out about how to prevent burglaries by locking front doors and side entrances to their homes.
Each cub was given a uv pen kit to take home and a security survey form for their parents.
PCSO Alan Pick from Hacton Safer Neighbourhood team said: “The presentation went very well and the cubs were all keen to ask questions about the information given and stories about their own experiences with theft of personal property.”
