Officers were on hand to mark people’s bikes as part of a special community day.
More than 20 cyclists had their bikes marked by officers at the Hacton Safer Neighbourhood Team and the Safer Transport Command team at Haydock Close Community Hall in Hornchurch recently.
Visitors at the event were also able to brush up on their crime prevention advice with plenty of leaflets and literature.
PCSO Alan Pick of Hacton Safer Neighbourhoods Team said “The event was a great success and local residents were pleased to see and speak to their local Police Team.
“We were more than happy to assist the Safer Transport Team with the cycle marking. More cycle marking and home security advice events are planned for the coming months and we hope to meet other members of our community at these events”.
