Little Isabella Gosling was having a ball at the children’s tea party at The Mall, Hornchurch.

The six-year-old joined 100 other youngsters and 250 adults at the celebrations for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee organised by professional events manager Lisa Golding.

“Everyone’s local,” said Lisa. “One of the ladies is an aerobics teacher and she did all the games. The photographer and DJ are from neighbouring roads.

“It’s really good and it’s got us all together. I know my neighbours but I didn’t know anyone further up the street so it’s the first time we’ve got together.”

“I’ve been weather-watching for about three days,” she added. “We’ve been lucky.”
