Six-year-old Nathan French was having a right royal time at his local street party in Rainham – he’d won a goodie bag.
The bag included sherbet and sweets, balloons, a medal, bubbles and a thimble.
But the party blower made the biggest impact – he loved letting it off in the face of the Recorder’s reporter.
Nathan’s brilliant face paint and special hat made everyone at the New Zealand Way street party smile – but his dad John had a job of convincing him not to eat all the sweets at once.
