Intrigue and suspense surrounded at a murder mystery event in Romford.

The event earlier this month featured residents sheltered housing accommodation, in Poplar Street, performing the play at Brookside Theatre

It was organised by and also featured Havering Council’s Active Living workers Lisa Mathews and Stephanie Johnson.

It was attended by the Mayor of Havering, Cllr Eric Munday.

Resident Marion Grimes said: “It was brilliant and it really looked fantastic. The residents joined in with the acting, which we had been rehearsing for a couple of months. It went really well on the day.”
