A garrison of stormtroopers clad in their iconic armour, took over Brookside Theatre at the weekend for a special Star Wars event.

A squad of clone soldiers featuring several actors from the original trilogy of films, joined movie lovers on Saturday in Eastern Road, Romford.

The event was organised by Nick Joseph, who starred in the first film A New Hope as Arhul Hextrophon, with money raised to go towards the continuous regeneration of the Romford War Memorial.

Alternatively, if you’re not much of a sci-fi fan but love quiz shows, Shaun Wallace from The Chase was also there to sign autographs.
