Howard Road in Upminster was closed last night while ambulance crews treat the motorcyclist.

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after he was involved in a crash in Upminster last night.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) at around 5.30 last night (Thursday, October 25) to reports of a crash between a car and a motorbike on Howard Road, near the junction with Garbutt Road.

Officers attended alongside the LAS and found the motorcyclist suffering from injuries to his back and knee.

His injuries are not believed to be life changing or life-threatening and was taken by ambulance to an east London hospital.

No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
