A road traffic collision involving a motorbike and a van caused traffic delays through Rainham this morning.
The incident took place around 7am on the A13 near the junction with Ferry Lane.
Police and the ambulance service were called to the scene, and the 35-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Queen’s Hospital, suffering from suspected bruised ribs.
