A crash involving a motorbike and a van is causing heavy delays on the A13 this morning.
Police and ambulance crews were called to Alfred’s Way at the junction with Movers Lane in Barking just before 7am.
Paramedics treated the rider for chest and leg injuries before rushing him to hospital.
Two lanes were blocked westbound on the A13 but have since re-opened, although traffic is still queuing back to the Wennington interchange in Rainham.
