Mother hospitalised after car and bus crash in Romford

A mother has been taken to hospital following a crash involving a car and a bus this morning.

Police were called to Waterloo Road, Romford, near the Oldchurch Roundabout, at 8.26am.

The woman, who was with her two children, has been taken to an east London hospital. Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Oldchurch Road was closed following the crash, and buses put on diversion, but the road reopened at 9.45am.

Jenni Bonfiacio posted a picture of the scene on Twitter.

She wrote: “Looks like a horrible accident at Oldchurch Roundabout. Waterloo Road rammed.”
