Mercury Mall in Romford has donated £610 to a local children’s charity thanks to Easter crowds.
The cash for First Step was raised through the Easter Garden, which was home to face painting and an Easter Bunny on Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30.
“The days were hugely popular with our shoppers,” said centre manger Sarah De Courcy Rolls.
“There was seldom a point when there wasn’t a queue for the face painting as our younger shoppers were transformed into bunnies and butterflies.”
