McFarlane hopeful

Urchins ready for replay

Hornchurch boss Jimmy McFarlane is hopeful for his side’s FA Cup replay at Brentwood tonight.

The two sides battled to a 0-0 draw at Bridge Avenue on Saturday, when Blues keeper Andy Hall made several fine saves to thwart the hosts.

The winners of tonight’s clash will host Woking in the third qualifying round on October 9 and McFarlane said: “We did everything but score on Saturday.

“There were more positives than negatives and we showed enough. I do believe we’re turning the corner.”
