A man was attacked by two men while drinking in a Hornchurch pub.

Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the assault in The Fatling and Firkin pub in High Street, Hornchurch on June 21.

They are also appealing for witnesses to the incident, in which the victim was set upon by two males while drinking sometime after 10pm.

One man aged 25 has been arrested and bailed to return to an east London police station on October 17.

DC Andy Swan from Havering CID, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the Firkin pub on this night and has information in relation to this particularly nasty attack.”
