A man is recovering in hospital after plunging around 30ft from a third floor window in Romford, this morning (Thursday).
The emergency services were called just after 3am, after the unnamed 42-year-old sustained pelvic and leg injuries in the fall from a terraced flat in Weston Road.
It is believed the man had been drinking and had landed on a low rooftop.
He was taken to The Royal London Hospital, in Whitechapel, by London Ambulance Serivce (LAS), where his condition is non life-threatening.
Police are investigating, but the incident is currently being treated as an accident, a police spokesman said.
