Areas of Romford Station and South Street remain cordoned off following a serious assault in the early hours of this morning.
London Ambulance Service treated a man reported to be in his 20s outside Romford Station before taking him to hospital.
Police have said they were called to the scene of a fight at about 4am, and remain to preserve the scene pending examination.
