A MAN who was not in a car was killed on the M25 near Brentwood on Sunday morning.
Police and ambulance crews were called at 7.05am on Sunday (February 13) after a lorry struck a man who was on foot on Lane One of the motorway, near roadworks and Chequers Road, between Junction 27 and 28 on the M25.
The man’s next of kin have been informed but he is yet to be named by police. Officers did not make any arrests at the scene.
A spokesman for Essex Ambulance Service said: “We sent an ambulance but sadly we weren’t able to do anything for him.”
