There was a heavy police presence in the area tonight.

A man and woman have been arrested at a house in Rise Park on suspicion of possessing and supplying class A drugs.

Armed police were seen by neighbours at the property in Heather Gardens at around 8pm tonight (Monday, September 24) and a police cordon is in place in the area.

The pair were arrrested at around 6.30pm and remain in custody.
