A man was air lifted to hospital after he fell from a roof in Hornchurch last weekend.

The man, 45, was repairing the roof of his house in Cranham Road, when he fell.

It happened just before 3pm on Saturday and police and paramedics from London Ambulance Service attended.

An air ambulance landed in Hylands Park and took the man to Queen’s Hospital, in Romford.

Police said his injuries are not serious.
