Man, 42, sentenced to 30 months in prison for Rainham assault and carrying a pruning knife in public

A 42-year-old-man has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for two counts of assault and for having a knife in a public place, in Rainham.
On Friday (February 14) Scott Fallows, of Mortlock Court, Whitta Road, Manor Park, was sentenced to two years in prison for the first count of assault by beating and another six months for a second.
In the hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court, Fallows was sentenced to anther six month for carrying a pruning knife in a public place but the judge ordered this to be served concurrently with his other sentences.
The incidents all took place in Belmont Crescent in August.
He had also been charged with rape but the judge ordered for it to lie on file.
Fallows pleaded not guilty to all charges.
