A 39-year-old man has been found dead following a birthday party in Mendoza Close, Hornchurch.
Police were called at 10.40am yesterday after the man’s body was found. London Ambulance Service confirmed him dead at the scene.
Neighbours said the party was a 21st birthday celebration for a member of the family. The party began on Saturday night and continued until about 7am on Sunday.
The Recorder understands a post-mortem was due to take place today. Next of kin have been informed but formal identification has not yet taken place.
No one has been arrested in connection with the man’s death.
