Man, 22, arrested on suspicion of Harold Hill murder

Detectives investigating the death of a 28-year-old man at a block of flats in Harold Hill have arrested a man on suspicion of murder.

Liam Harman was found with stab wounds at the flats in Straight Road, Harold Hill, late Tuesday evening, July 11.

A 22-year-old man was arrested this morning and remains in custody at an east London police station.

A 27-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday, 15 July, but has since been released under investigation.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) just before 10.40pm on Tuesday, July 11, to the scene.

Mr Harman was found suffering from stab injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 11.22pm. His next of kin have been informed.

A post-mortem gave the cause of death as stab wounds to the chest and abdomen.

The Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating and are appealing for information and witnesses.
