Archant

A lorry crash which caused a spillage has led to traffic coming to a standstill.

The collision happened at about 3.30pm this afternoon meaning all three lanes Essexbound on the A13 at the Wennington junction were temporarily closed.

One lane has now been reopened but traffic is slow moving and as far back as Ferry Lane, Rainham.

A TfL spokesman confirmed the spillage is not a fluid.
