Police officers are appealing for the public’s help in tracing two fraudsters with connections to Romford who are on the run from the law after being found guilty of fraud.
The Metropolitan Police launched the appeal after Michael O’Brien, 60, and his son John O’Brien, 26, were found guilty of fraud at Isleworth Crown Court on September 13.
They had been running a building work scam and had targeted an elderly woman living on her own.
The pair have links to Romford, and officers believe they may be in the area, or in Ireland.
Anyone who has any information on the pair can contact the police on 101, citing crime reference number CAD 3025/12SEP18.
