Essex Police have confirmed a 38-year-old motorcyclist from Romford has died after being hit by a car and are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
Officers were called shortly before 4.25pm on Saturday, September 1, to reports a grey Peugeot 2008 and a black Yamaha motorbike were in collision in London Road, Stapleford Tawney.
Sadly the motorcyclist, a 38-year-old man from Romford, died at the scene despite the efforts of emergency services.
The Peugeot driver, a 78-year-old man, and his passenger, a 74-year-old woman, both also from Romford, were taken to Queen’s Hospital with minor injuries.
