Mass turnout in Havering as voters decide to leave the European Union

Voters in Havering came out in force after recording the joint third biggest turnout in London for the EU referendum.
This morning the country has woken up to the news the UK has voted to leave the European Union after 43 years in a historic referendum.
A total of 139,176 votes were cast in Havering - equating to 76 per cent of residents.
Only Bromley and Sutton recorded higher numbers of people voting.
A massive 96,885 people voted to leave the EU, while only 42,201 voted to remain.
