Daggers stopper Chris Lewington has signed a new contract.

Daggers goalkeeper Chris Lewington has committed his future to the club by signing a new three-year contract.

The 23-year-old stopper has made the number one shirt his own this season, following the retirement of club legend Tony Roberts, and has arguably been the team’s most consistent performer.

The former Hampton & Richmond keeper has started all 16 games for Daggers this season, while also working part-time as a teacher, which he intends to continue.

Lewington told Daggers Player: “I’ve been here three years now. I’m enjoying playing, the gaffer offered me a new contract and I couldn’t turn it down.”
