Paparazzi, former pop stars and a TV crew brought a little celebrity glamour to Havering this week.

Former Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona came to Collier Row with her husband George Kay to visit the set of upcoming Essex TV show Burnt Toast.

Tony Fadil, who both produced and stars in the show, was more than happy to welcome the couple to his home in Navarre Gardens.

He said: “They popped in because they’re good friends of ours and George is playing a doorman called Elvis, one of the main characters.

“It was great for us because they came down, had a bit of a look around and talked to cast and crew and by then a few paparazzi had even turned up, which is good news for the show!

“It was great for everyone to meet her and she was really supportive of what we’re trying to do.”

Burnt Toast is a sitcom starring Tony, alongside George Newton, Steve Ward and Amber Addison, set in Romford following the life of David Ray, a forty-something ladies man living with his best friend and will be shown on online TV channel Essex TV.
