The 5k fun run will start at Dagenham and Redbridge Football Club in Victoria Road, at 11am next Sunday (December 9) and there is still time to register.

This year a new element has been added to make the Santathon even more fun - there will be a couple of turkeys taking part too - and if you’re the first to catch one of them, you win a Christmas turkey of your own.

Last year the fun run had to be re-arranged for March as it was cancelled in December because of bad weather, but hundreds of Santas still took part and raised thousands of pounds for the Havering-atte-Bower charity.

Entry prices are: Adults £15, under 16s £8, family: £30 (two adults, two kids) and include a free Santa suit.
