Hornchurch woman made to pay £315 over illegal dangerous dog

A woman from Hornchurch has been ordered to pay £315 over her illegal pet pit bull called Gucci.

Tracey Smith, 50, of Osborne Road, was given a six month conditional discharge and made to pay £300 in costs as well as a £15 victim surcharge at Romford Magistrates’ Court.

She pleaded guilty to having a dog in her possession contrary to the Dangerous Dogs Act and was ordered to have it neutered and chipped.
