Three people were rescued by firefighters from a house fire in Hornchurch.
London Fire Brigade was called to the incident, in Keswick Avenue, at 11.40pm on Friday.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus rescued two men and a woman from a first-floor bedroom - the trio were assessed by London Ambulance Service at the scene.
The fire, which damaged part of the terraced property's ground floor, was brought under control within 40 minutes.
The cause of the blaze is being investigated by the brigade and the Met Police.
