The road which closed last month over fears that a building may collapse has been re-opened to traffic in both directions.
Hornchurch High Street is now open after enough work on the building was completed to enable some of the scaffolding to be removed.
The traffic is restricted to one lane in each direction along a short section of the road near to the damaged building - above Thomson’s estate agents - and buses are expected to return to their original routes.
The road had been closed to traffic since June 29. It has been open to pedestriancs since June 30.
Businesses along the street have been operating as usual.
