The semi-final draw of the Essex Senior Cup has been made.

Hornchurch were handed an away tie with either Waltham Abbey or Southend United when the draw for the Essex Senior Cup semi-finals was made today.

Martin Tuohy’s hat-trick led Urchins to a 4-3 success over League One outfit Colchester in midweek – in a repeat of the 2010 final.

And the reward for Jimmy McFarlane’s men is a meeting with npower League Two highfliers Southend or Ryman One North side Waltham Abbey.

Their match was postponed on Tuesday due to a waterlogged pitch at Capershotts and is set to be played on Wednesday, January 23.
