A special “resident service day” for tenants and leaseholders in council houses will take place tomorrow (Saturday September 22) in Hornchurch.
Homes in Havering (HiH), which manages Havering’s council housing, will host free information and activities on Hacton Lane from 11am until 6pm.
As well as HiH staff, representatives from the council, the police, the fire brigade, the Liberty Credit Union and the Dogs Trust – who will be providing free microchipping for dogs.
There will also be games and face painting for children, along with cooking and healthy eating workshops.
Julie Pocock, HiH Resident Involvement Manager, said: “This is the fourth resident service day we’ve held this year and it’s a great opportunity for the community to come together and get help and advice.”
