Firefighters tackled a blaze in a derelict school building in the early hours of this morning.
Around ten firefighters from Hornchurch attended the fire at the former Dunningford School in Upper Rainham Road, Rainham at around 12am on Monday August 22.
Crews used specialist breathing equipment and a water hose to bring the fire under control after three hours.
The fire investigation team are currently looking into the cause of the blaze.
