Members of Hornchurch air cadets helped unveil the Bomber Command memorial last Thursday in Green Park, central London.
Cadet Luke Emin, Pilot Officer Vince Ferguson, Cadet Flight Sergeant Andrew Murphy and Cadet Corporal Joseph Clark of the 452 Squadron Royal Air Force Air Cadets, based in Tyrells Close, Upminster, escorted guests to and from their places for the ceremony and handed out refreshments and orders of service.
Group Captain Mike Cross RAF (Rtd), former chief of staff of the Air Training Corps, recognised the cadets’ contribution to the day, saying they “did the RAF and Corps proud”.
