More than two thirds of patients in Havering have said their experiences of making a GP appointments have been either “very good” or “fairly good”.
The figures place Havering in the top third of boroughs across the capital.
A survey by NHS England found that 30 per cent of patients had a very good overall experience making a GP appointment, while 41pc had a fairly good experience.
After contacting a surgery 25pc of respondents said they had been able to see a GP or nurse the same day with 12pc saying they were able to book an appointment the next working day. But, 26pc of people said they had waited a week or longer for an appointment.
