It was a dream-come-true for Upminster Arsenal fan Mihnea Alexandru when he took part in an exclusive training session with England footballer Jack Wilshere.

The seven-year-old St Joseph Catholic School pupil was put through his paces at the FA’s St George’s training facility in Staffordshire on August 28.

Topps Match Attax, the official Barclays Premier League football trading card game, organised the event.

Mihnea’s father Adrian said: “Mihnea loves playing football and is a massive Match Attax fan.

“It was a dream-come-true for him to win the chance to meet Jack Wilshere and train with him. He was so excited and hasn’t stopped talking about it since!”
