Police are anxiously searching for a “high-risk” 19-year-old woman from Romford after she went missing late last night.

A Metropolitan Police helicopter has been hovering over Rainham on the lookout for Nichola McCreedy who was last seen at 11.30pm in Spring Gardens, Romford.

She is described as a 5ft 6in white female of slim build. She has bleached blonde hair and wears dark-rimmed glasses.

It is not known what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.

Officers are “increasingly concerned” for her wellbeing and are urging anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to call police on 101 or charity Missing people on 116 000 quoting reference 14MIS032307.
