A woman died in a fire in Rainham yesterday morning (Sunday May 13).
Fire crews were called to Crystal Court, Ferro Road, at 10.10am where firefighters wearing breathing apparatus found the woman in the living room of the ground-floor flat.
The fire was under control by 10.50am.
Crews from Wennington and Dagenham fire stations attended the incident.
The cause is being investigated.
