If you can steer clear of these roads, you may find your journey is quicker.

Roadworks could mean delays in the following roads over the next few days.


Squirrels Heath Lane - multi-way signals until Wednesday, March 14, manually controlled 6.30-10am, and 3-7pm.

Elm Park Avenue - two-way traffic signals until Wednesday, March 14.

Slewins Lane - two-way traffic signals until Monday, March 12.

Junction of Penrith Crescent and Wood Lane - multi-way signals from Wednesday, March 14 until Tuesday, March 20.


121 North Hill Drive - temporary traffic lights from Monday, March 12 until Wednesday, March 14.

Outside 543 Upper Brentwood Road - two-way lights until Tuesday, March 13.


Windmill site opposite Champion Road - signals until April 13.

Warley Street junction with St Mary’s Lane - multi-way signals until Tuesday, March 20.

Ockendon Road junction with Sunnings Lane - two-way lights Saturday, March 10.

St Mary’s - two-way lights until Monday, March 12.

Stubbers Lane, junction with Ockendon Road - two-way lights on Saturday and Sunday, March 10 and 11.

Lexington Way junction with Roseberry Gardens - signals from Tuesday, March 13 to Thursday, March 15.


Ferry Lane level crossing - two-way signals on Saturday, March 11 between 1am and 7am.
